Does Covenant Country have any special requirements?YES; a wedding planner or organizer is required. The wedding planner will be the contact person for your event.

How far in advance should we reserve a date for our event?Our venue is booked according to availability. We recommend you book your event space well in advance. We do not save dates without a deposit and signed contract.

In case of inclement weather, can the ceremony be moved inside the Banquet hall?"ABSOLUTELY; Covenant Country has provisions for both indoor and outdoor weddings. You should have a backup plan for Texas weather.

Where will my guests park?Parking is adjacent to the Banquet Hall. With the exception of the bride and groom and handicapped guests, all vehicles should park in the designated parking lot. Additionally, all vehicles are to remain on the road or in designated parking areas (no driving or turning around in the fields).

Does Covenant Country provide chairs, tables, and linens for the Banquet Hall?"We provide up to 250 chairs and 25 tables for your Banquet Hall. Additional tables and chairs are available for a fee. Several of our recommended vendors provide linen services however we do not provide linens.

Do you have outdoor seating available?Yes; we have movable wood benches to accommodate approximately 250 people.

Does Covenant Country have dressing rooms?YES; we provide spacious dressing rooms for the bride, groom, and the wedding party.

Do your facilities have air conditioning and heating?YES; we provide very generous cooling and heating in the Banquet Hall.

Are pets allowed?Pets are not allowed, there are many hazards to pets on the property. However legitimate service dogs, on a six foot or shorter leash, are the exception.

Does Covenant Country have overnight accommodations?No, we do not, but there are many nearby hotels in Bastrop, Elgin, Giddings, and Smithville.

May we take engagement or bridal pictures at Covenant Country prior to our event?YES; any paid reservation can reserve up to four hours at Covenant Country on Monday through Thursday, so your shoot does not conflict with any events. The photo shoot requires an appointment.

Can we decorate how we choose?YES; however, we ask that you not damage the walls and furniture and abstain from use of nails, screws, or staples. You are welcome to use candles that have at least three inches of side glass coverage above the flame.

Can we decorate the event site the day before the event?As long as the facility is not reserved for that day, you are welcome to come decorate the day before your event. If you require a considerable amount of additional time, it is best to reserve the time when you make your reservation. Please verify availability prior to your event.

What can be tossed in the air for the bride and groom’s departure?Bird seed, organic flower petals, rice, wedding wands, and bubbles are permissible options. We prohibit sparklers and paper confetti.

Are fireworks allowed?Fireworks are not permitted due to fire and safety risks.

Can alcohol be served at Covenant Country?NO. Bringing your own alcohol (BYOB) is not permitted at Covenant Country.

Are we required to use Covenant Country’s recommended vendors?NO; you can choose your own vendors, with one exception: the bartender for open-bar set-ups must be the Santisi bartender. All other vendors recommended by Covenant Country are preferred but not required. We like to offer vendor flexibility to our clients.
